Chefs are unlocked after reaching certain levels. There are two types of Chefs, Normal Chefs and Special Chefs.

 

Special Chefs have additional powers than Normal Chefs and can be unlocked earlier in the game using Gold Bars to give players an advantage to clear difficult levels faster.  They can also be unlocked without using any Gold Bars but in such cases, it becomes mandatory to clear certain number of levels.
