You need Tools to upgrade your Dish Storage, Ingredient Storage, Exoting Item Storage. Also, you need Tools to expand your Backyard, Restaurant area and Foodland expansions.

All the Tools will be either stored in your Ingredient/Dish Storage area based on their usage.
