Hello Chef!
The updated Backyard is now your one-stop shop for anything ingredient-related. You can now create ingredients from scratch and use them to prepare delicious dishes in your restaurant appliances. Here’s a sweet overview of the new changes in the Backyard:
More Soil Boxes : The number of soil boxes has been increased to help players with ingredient production.
Animal Sheds :
Cow Shed: Feed leafy greens to the cows to receive milk.
Hen Coop: Supply the hens with corn to gather eggs.
Chicken Coop: Feed corn to the chickens to harvest chicken meat.
Pig Farm: Offer carrots to the pigs to receive bacon.
Cattle Ranch: Feed leafy greens to the cattle to harvest beef.
Apiary: Provide the bees with sugarcane to obtain honey.
Windmills :
Corn Windmill : Requires corn to prepare corn flour.
Wheat Windmill : Requires wheat to prepare all-purpose flour.
New backyard appliances:
Dairy Station : Produces dairy products like Cream, Cheese, Butter, Coconut Milk, and Tofu.
Sugar Station : Produces sugar products like Sugar, Sugar Syrup, and Icing Sugar.
Trader Post : Trade with distant lands to acquire rare and exotic ingredients. Send your carts to specific gardens or lands to collect rare and exotic ingredients, and wait for their return with the items needed for your recipes. Use Academy tools to boost your chances, and unlock more lands by spending coins.
Other Changes :
With this update, players will need to spend coins to plant vegetables.
When harvesting, you'll receive one vegetable instead of two, as seeds are no longer required for planting.
The visuals for the Vegetable list for planting have been updated. To view the new visuals, go to Settings > Advanced Settings and enable the “New Backyard Interface” option.
